I enjoy combining textures and rhythms found in the
details of nature with the big picture - a sense of the sublime, even. My focus is like that of a camera lens, shifting between the micro and the macro level of any image.

Meet the artist

My work revolves around the coastal Scandinavian nature and how meeting between panorama and close up as well as the meeting of naturalistic and impressionistic influence and even change the experience of what we think we know so well. I create work that is both colourful in nature as well as personal. Many of the motives are inspired from my fascination, curiosity and love of the small Danish island Anholt.
